I wanted to find a way to combined fiber and augmented reality together. I decided to created a Yalliktah, a tradition Assyrian piece used for celebration, to celebrate my diaspora; my “culture limbo”. I think one step of healing from diaspora is to acknowledge its presence.

For the augmented reality, I used Maya and Spark AR to help bring this piece to life.
