Leana Yonan (she/her/hers) is an Assyrian American Character Designer and Cartoonist from Chicago!
She graduated in 2020 with a BFA in Animation and Comics from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Leana's concepts come from a place of familiarity, whether it connects to her SWANA identity or to all the comics she read as a wee lad.
When she's not drawing silly butts, you can find her cooking a bunch of breakfast foods, roller skating, and sewing beads onto everything in her path.
